Bollywood Parks Dubai

Bollywood Parks is one of the 3 theme parks located in Dubai Parks and Resorts. The park is the world’s first Bollywood theme park in Dubai and consists of 1.7 million square feet of space, which is the size of 3 football fields. Bollywood Park is inspired by the Indian film industry and is mostly based on the city called “Mumbai”. This theme park offers a 4D theatre experience for guests who love Bollywood. The theme park consists of five sections, Bollywood Boulevard, Mumbai Chowk, Rustic Ravine, Bollywood Film Studios, and Royal Plaza.

Bollywood Boulevard

This amazing zone takes you back to1960-80s or the Silver Screen era. The zone is themed based on famous movies such as Rock On, Chalte Chalte, Mugal-e-Azam, Shahensha and a few more. Bollywood Boulevard also contains several restaurants based on the street food and cafes of India, to enhance the experience of the guests and make them feel like they are in the exact place itself. Other than restaurants, Bollywood Boulevard also offers its guests to purchase traditional goods from the stores as well as enjoy on-stage performances and meet the famous celebrity’s lookalikes.

Mumbai Chowk

The Mumbai Chowk zone features an open area market and the local trains of Mumbai, which is a well-known city of India. This area provides information about local streets and shops in Mumbai for visitors to utilize as inspiration as well as, entertain the guests with live performances on the roof of the Mumbai trains. The zone also includes a 3D media tunnel ride based on the movie “Don” and the famous actor Shah Rukh Khan. The guests also get to enjoy the classic Indian songs as they shop and dine in the Mumbai Chowk zone.

Rustic Ravine

The 3rd zone is Rustic Ravine. It is a zone filled with action as it features the movies Dabangg, Lagaan and Sholay. The guests get to take part in a 3D ride which is themed on the movie Sholay. This 3D ride allows their guests to compete with their friends by shooting the terrifying villain Gabbar and his team. Rustic Ravine is the best zone to visit if you are a cricket fan, as this zone offers their fans with an amazing simulator ride featuring the scenes from the movie “Lagaan in a moving ball. Since it is an action-packed zone, there are also live performances for the visitors to look at which include the characters Chulbul Pandey and Salman Khan. Lastly, the zone also has a mini Ferris wheel and mini carousel for the little ones so they can enjoy it too.

Bollywood Parks Dubai Film Studios

Next, you will find Bollywood Film Studios inspired by the movies RA.One, G.One and Krrish. The zone has a 4D multi-sensory theatre showing the spectacular flying scenes from the movie Krrish. Bollywood Film Studios also hosts an event where they show live “behind the scenes” of the movie “Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara”. The zone also has shops which are dedicated to the movies Lagaan, Dabangg and Sholay, as well as a few dining places one of which is based on the film Mughal-E-Azam.

Royal Plaza

Royal Plaza is the last zone in the Bollywood parks. It has a luxurious theatre called Rajmahal theatre. The theatre is a giant structure which is inspired by the royal palaces in India and the theatre can accommodate up to 856 guests at once. The Rajmahal theatre also hosts the region’s first-ever Broadway-style musical called ‘Jaan-e-Jigar’ as well as, can be booked for private functions and corporate events. “Stars on Steps” is amazing on stage show which hosts hit Bollywood songs and has dance performances in front of a large LED screen.
